Background

FAR Consulting started trading in January 2006, and its three principals have in excess of thirty years of combined forensic experience, most of which was spent with a "Big 4" firm. Since its inception FAR has developed a following amongst national law firms and leading UK insurers working on all manner and size of assignments, including:

• contractual and commercial disputes, including completion account disputes and breach of warranty claims;
• investigating allegations of fraud and financially motivated crime;
• loss of earnings/profits claims arising from road traffic accidents, fires, floods, professional negligence, supply failure and numerous other causes;
• s994 disputes (and valuation of shareholdings), Compulsory Purchase Orders, advising on joint venture agreements and partnership disputes; and
• family matters: including assisting with the preparation of, or critiquing, Form Es, acting as a "shadow expert", reviewing documents to obtain indicative valuations and/or identify any potentially related companies and/or interests to ensure that full and complete disclosure has occurred.
